Geoff had recently bought a new laptop but was
experiencing issues with the Wi-Fi frequently
disconnecting. After checking that other Wi-Fi
devices were working as normal, I checked the
network adapter's power settings prior to
updating the computer's firmware and the device
drivers in Windows 11. This was a remote support
job via Microsoft Teams.

"Laptops and I do not get on!
In recent years two laptops have completely
died on me and I was lucky the data could be
salvaged. So when laptop number 3, a Lenovo ,
started acting strangely and was taking an age
to start up I thought here we go again another
disaster looming, more expense. However this
time I took it to Ceetek. This proved to be a
very wise move. Simon was brilliant. He
clearly knows his stuff, is very patient
and also easy to talk to. He explained his
planned repair clearly and took the laptop
away to work on.
When the repair was finished he returned to me
a laptop which works much better than it ever
did and at a fraction of the cost of a new
one. As a bonus he also had a quick look at my
elderly Samsung tablet which was crashing apps
left right and centre and sorted that out too!
Result!
So, overall, yes I would highly
recommend Ceetek.

Sue's
Lenovo laptop was not long out of warranty but
sadly its 2GB rotational hard drive was
beginning to fail, which was causing blue
screens, and boot failures.
I replaced the faulty drive, with a new SSD,
re-installed the operating system and then
copied Sue's data over to the new storage,
ensuring that it was also backed up in the
cloud.
The tablet just needed a bit of housekeeping - a
few apps removed, some updated, and an update to
the operating system.
