Repairs and Upgrades
Repairing
a broken device not only makes good financial sense, but
is also a great way to be kinder to the planet.
Often a bit of additional memory (RAM) or replacing an
old rotational hard disk with a much faster and less
power-hungry SSD (solid state drive) can breathe enough
new life into an older piece of kit for it to last
several more years.
Broken
power sockets, laptop screens, and keyboards are all
annoying defects which can condemn an otherwise
functioning machine, and can often be rectified
relatively easily once the correct parts have been
located. Keyboards with missing keys can often be
fixed simply by sourcing a single replacement key and
suitable hinge assembly, without the need to replace
the whole keyboard or even open the computer's
case.
If
you are wondering whether it is worth repairing rather
than replacing your broken device please do get in
contact. I can advise you, and if required can source
the parts to carry out the repair.
